Virat Kohli couldn’t start because he was fired for one. After losing the top three, India got a bit lost Hardik PandyaSuryakumar Yadav and Dinesh Karthik couldn’t start and couldn’t make much impact with the bat. However, Ravindra Jadeja beat smart and managed to score an important 46 for the team that took India to 170.

England were rocked on the first-ever chase ball as Bhuvneshwar Kumar fired Jason Roy and also knocked down a young girl. Kumar carried on his good form from the last game and made sure the England batters struggled against him. He also fired captain Jos Buttler which was his second time in this series to give India the upper hand.

From then on, England could never really make a comeback as Indian bowlers continued to take wickets at regular intervals. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the bowlers choice as he took 3 wickets for 15 runs.

This is Rohit Sharma’s 14th consecutive T20I victory as captain, the most in the world and the third victory of the series as captain on the trot.
