In Rennes, the “vaccinodrome” opened its doors [En images] – Rennes

Attendance is moderate for the opening of the large capacity vaccination center in Ille-et-Vilaine. For the first afternoon of transformation of the athletics stadium into a vaccination center, 200 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine were transported by the firefighters. A little before 5 p.m., the last patients left the premises. In order not to lose doses, the caregivers, staff and firefighters on site were able to receive injections at the end of the day. This week, 1,200 vaccinations should be performed before maintaining a daily rate of 1000 vaccinations per day from next week.

In this large capacity vaccination center, people over 70 can get vaccinated. People aged 18 to 69 with a very high-risk disease of a severe form of covid-19 can also do so with a medical prescription from their attending physician.

At the Robert Poirier stadium, vaccinations can only be done by appointment, in particular via the Doctolib platform. Open since April 1, it had made it possible to make appointments with nearly a thousand people in just a few hours. For any information concerning the vaccination campaign in the department, a free number has been set up (0 805 690 821)

In the department, two new vaccination centers are starting up. This week, a center opened in Chantepie. That of Dinard should open from April 12 in Dinard.
