In Plouzané, a large cluster of covid-19 cases has been identified on the campus of IMT Atlantique (Ecole nationale supérieure Mines-Télécom Atlantique Bretagne-Pays de la Loire).
After a screening campaign carried out in collaboration with the Brittany Regional Health Agency (ARS), last Monday and Tuesday, on the three IMT campuses, a total of 95 students tested positive on the Brest-Plouzané campus, six on the Nantes campus, but none on the Rennes campus.
The school management decided to switch all courses on the Brest campus to distancing, some students were already taking courses from their parents’ home. The 95 positive students represent a quarter of the 380 students currently housed at the student house on the Brest campus. The campus restaurant was closed from Thursday for eleven days, but it will offer take-out meals to students.
