Top prospect Paddy Pimblett admits he feels anger towards his opponent for the first time in his career ahead of UFC London.
“The Baddy” faces his first step in competition when he takes on compatriot Jordan Leavitt, who is 10-1 and has three wins in his first four UFC bouts, at The O2 Arena this Saturday.
‘Monkey King’, who is known for his submission skills and wacky post-fight celebrations, predicted he would become the first man to knock out Pimblett and even suggested he would ‘twerk’ the UK fan favorite by the following.
“I have to twerk on him. I said it in an interview as a joke and then I got tagged in hundreds of these posts and memes about it,” Levitt told talkSPORT.
“I have to twerk on him. Gotta twerk on the London crowd. I guess that’s what I have to do.
The proud Scouser didn’t appreciate his opponents’ pre-fight talk and pledged to make it pay when they step into the Octagon in front of 20,000 fight fans.
“I didn’t care about him before the fight was announced. But he talks all kinds of crazy bullshit and he’s an absolute crab,” Pimblett said Wednesday at UFC London media day.
“He can’t throw a punch to save his life, and he tries to talk shit. It’s crazy. I can’t believe he’s talking about my opponents? That Trey Ogden [Leavitt’s last UFC opponent]my grandmother died and she would finish it.

“I’m going to rip his head off. I’m not going to shoot takedowns. I come to stand by his side to decapitate him. I’m coming to take his chin home.
The 27-year-old believes that despite the pre-fight talk, Leavitt will be overwhelmed when it comes to fighting in front of what promises to be a boisterous British crowd.
“It is only too much fought in the [UFC] APEX, he’s never fought anywhere else, he’s never fought with a crowd. And now that he’s fighting with my crowd, his head is going to drop,” Pimblett said.
“It might be the first time someone fucks themselves in the Octagon. It might be the first time you have to wipe some shit off the floor.
The Next Generation fighter revealed that he will go one step further than his opponent after the fight, as he plans to “teabag” Leavitt as he lay unconscious on the Octagon floor.
“I’m going to put a tea bag on him. I’ll give her a tea bag like it’s [Call of Duty] Modern Warfare 2. I’ll crouch as close to his head as I can without the ref yelling at me. I’ll just crouch like I’m in Modern Warfare 2.”
Pimblett is poised to become a superstar after scoring back-to-back first-round wins and a legion of new fans since joining the UFC in 2021.
A victory over Leavitt this weekend would propel the charismatic Liverpudlian one step closer to the top 15 stacked lightweights which includes Conor McGregor, Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier.
