  • Non-manufacturing 41.9 versus 48.4 before

  • Composite 42.7 vs. 48.8 prior

Caixin/Markit China Manufacturing PMI for April came in at 46.0

  • vs expected 47.0, before 48.1

China’s zero covid policy persists. The impact on the national economy is as above, ugly. Global supply chains will also be further disrupted.
