IAF Releases Afcat Application Form 2/2022 – Check Latest Date, Eligibility and Other Details

The application form for the Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT 2 Exam 2022, was released on June 1 by the Indian Air Force (IAF).

The deadline to apply for the AFCAT 2/2022 exam is June 30, 2022, until 5 p.m. Interested and eligible candidates to sit for the exam can apply online on the official website.

According to the official notice, the AFCAT 2022 exam will be held for courses commencing in July 2023. The date for the AFCAT 2022 exam is 26-28 August 2022 and the exam will be conducted online. The IAF will organize the exam in two teams. The morning shift will begin at 7:30 a.m., while the afternoon shift exam will begin at 12:30 p.m.

The IAF is leading the 2022 Air Force recruitment campaign to fill 271 different positions, of which 25 seats are for female candidates and 246 for males, Indian Express reported.

  • On the home page, the candidate must click on the “Candidate Connection” section and go to “AFCAT 2/2022”.
  • On clicking, a new window will open which will ask the candidate to enter the email id, password and captcha.
  • Once candidates are logged in, they will need to complete the registration process by filling in the required details including qualification details and course preference. They will then need to upload the required documents, digital signature, thumbprint and photograph. The candidate will also need to select the exam city from the drop-down menu.
  • The candidate will then have to pay the application fee of Rs 250 online. All applicants should check their application form once before submitting it.
  • After submitting the form, the candidate can save and print it for future reference.
  • After submitting the forms, applicants can download the admission card from the website https://afcat.cdac.in on August 10, 2022, after 5 p.m. Applicants will also receive the admission card on their registered email id.

    Candidates wishing to sit for the examination must have obtained at least 50% marks in physics and mathematics in the class 12 examinations.

    They could also have at least a three-year degree from a recognized university, with 60% marks or above, or hold a four-year BE/B Tech degree.

    Those interested in applying must be between the ages of 20 and 24 by July 1, 2023, which means they must have been born between July 2, 1999 and July 1, 2003. The upper age limit for those with a valid and current professional pilot has been relaxed to 26 years.
