An Australian woman has shared her stunning weight loss transformation which saw her lose 53 pounds and get her life back.

In July 2023, Dils Lee felt like she had hit rock bottom after reaching her heaviest weight of 192 pounds, despite also wearing size 16 clothing.

Although the 28-year-old says there’s nothing wrong with being that size, it had a huge impact on how she felt physically and mentally.

But now, less than a year later, a woman from Australia’s Central Coast has turned her life around after losing an incredible 53 pounds and three dress sizes following a simple change.

“I got to a point where I was sick of waking up and feeling horrible, sore and uncomfortable in my body,” Lee told news.com.au.

“I had seen a post on Instagram that said if you weren’t an active person but you were with an active partner, the inactive partner was likely to die seven years before the active partner.

“It really scared me because my husband is a very fit and active person and I hated the idea of ​​not being there because I wasn’t taking care of myself and my body.

“I honestly think it completely changed my mindset and approach to weight loss. Not just to look better, but to be healthy and live as long as possible with my husband.

When she was at her heaviest, Lee said her mood was low, she felt lethargic, exhausted and was in pain all the time.

She desperately wanted her life back after gaining weight throughout the pandemic, but didn’t know where to start.

But after she started simply walking with a friend during their coffee runs instead of sitting in the coffee shop, she noticed a huge change.

She began losing weight and soon after fell in love with movement, even attending HIIT fitness classes five times a week.

In six months, Lee had lost 37 pounds, but she felt like she was stuck in a plateau and couldn’t lose any more weight.

That’s when she decided to seek help from a nutritionist, Lily Cook, who helped her prioritize her nutritional goals and saw her begin a low-carb, high-protein diet.

With this change, she managed to lose another 15 pounds and achieve the toned physique of her dreams.

She went from a size 16 to a size 10. @dilshealth

“I started walking with my friend for coffee almost every morning,” she said.

“I really loved it. Then one day, while we were having coffee while walking, we met some people who had just finished a HIIT gym class nearby and they offered us a ride with them.

“We accepted their offer. After my free trial I signed up and went several times a week, I really loved it.

“The trainer there, Shauna, made it feel like a community. It was so much fun.

“I also found myself in a calorie deficit and subsequently sought help from a nutritionist.
