“I am 100% sure that Fauci lied to us”
On Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” on Tuesday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) spoke about his latest evidence regarding the origins of COVID-19.
According to Paul, evidence indicates that former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci lied about the origin of the virus.
“I’m 100% sure Fauci lied to us and they were doing dangerous research there,” he said. “I would say that all the evidence I’ve seen so far points to it coming from a lab. And it all adds up, and proximity makes a difference. The fact that the lab is within walking distance of the place where most of the world’s coronaviruses, the world’s largest coronavirus collection is within walking distance of where it all started – yes, there are too many coincidences to add up. But there are also evidence that this virus, COVID-19, is the product of something that was developed and experimented on. A group in Wuhan actually asked our Department of Defense for money and said they wanted to take coronavirus , like COVID, and put something in there to make it more contagious. It’s called a furin cleavage site. It’s not found in nature, and that’s exactly what COVID s turned out to be.
“So it’s a – it’s a mystery, it’s a mystery with a cover-up,” Paul continued. “We have now discovered that American universities have given money to military research in China. And we’re going to get to the bottom of it. But there is a massive cover-up going on, and the leader of the whole cover-up has been Fauci. We now have information that he still works for the government, even though he says he is retired. And I think he’s worried about being charged, and so he’s still working to get him legal protection from the federal government. But it’s wrong on every level, and we’ll get to the bottom of it. We send a letter to find out what the real status of his employment is. Is he retired? Does he still get a federal detail? So there’s a lot going on, but at the top of it all, at the top of all the concerns we have, is Tony Fauci. »
