The heartbreaking playmaker had a breakthrough season with SRH last time out . He had taken 22 wickets in 14 games and constantly uprooted stumps with his fast pace.
This time around, before SRH’s last game of the season against Mumbai Indians (MI), Malik had played seven games and won only five wickets. SRH head coach Brian Lara said earlier that the bowler was left out of the starting XI due to team balance.
