Huntsville USPS employee charged with destroying and hiding mail

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A former United States Postal Service (USPS) employee in Huntsville was charged with destroying mail during a 6-month period in 2018.
According to court records, Alexander Dockery was a mail handler with the USPS General Mail Service in Huntsville.
Court records show Dockery hid, destroyed, detained and delayed letters, postcards, packages and mail that came into its possession as mail handler between June 1, 2018 and November 30, 2018.
Dockery’s arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 9.
