Huntsville Police Investigate Fatal Crash
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is investigating after a fatal crash on Governors Drive.
HPD said officers responded to a call about a single-vehicle entrapment crash at Governors Drive and Governors Place at 2:15 p.m.
The department said it believed the crash happened when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree.
HEMSI spokesman Don Webster said HEMSI transported only one man to the trauma center at Huntsville Hospital. HPD said one person died in connection with the crash.
The HPD said officers are currently investigating the full cause of the crash and no further details are available at this time.
