Huawei Technologies Morocco has just announced that it took part in the “Innovation and Cyber Security Series – Egypt 2022” conference, which was held in Cairo on March 28 and 29, 2022.
During the “Innovation and Cyber Security Series – Egypt 2022” conference held in Cairo on March 28 and 29, 2022, Huawei Morocco presented the latest innovations developed by the company, as well as the different strategic approaches that the brand adopts in the field of setting up E&E systems. Huawei Morocco also listed the different types of protocols to follow in terms of cybersecurity and which are able to guarantee a secure digital transformation of industry and businesses. Huawei Morocco was represented by Lihongjun, Regional Director of Cybersecurity and Private Data Protection and by Youssef Ait Kaddour, Chief Cyber security Officer of Huawei Morocco.
Huawei’s participation in this meeting comes in the wake of the company’s vision and strategic directions. As a leader in the fields of telecommunications and ICT solutions, Huawei continues to work closely with its partners, as well as with the telecommunications regulatory authorities to promote the digital transformation of the countries of North Africa. . As such, Huawei continues to encourage the sharing of best practices in cybersecurity, but also to promote “the establishment of an Integral Cybersecurity Assurance System” intended to promote cyber-resilience for all. levels, whether solutions or services for businesses or available infrastructure.
During this conference, Lihongjun highlighted the mechanisms and procedures that a company must follow to ensure the safety of its products and services. Lihongjun also stressed the importance of ensuring sufficient levels of cybersecurity and ensuring that all relevant parties within companies can work together towards this end. Lihongjun spoke in a session titled “Integrating a Collaborative Security Framework to Ensure Proper Tools, Training and Resources Needed to Protect Information.”

The objective of such an approach is to allow the continuous deployment of the right strategies with the main parties concerned in the fields of high-tech communication, but also of innovation and verification”.
At the end of the conference, Huawei Morocco was awarded the prize for the best strategy in terms of cybersecurity awareness.
