On January 31, sports betting will be officially legalized in Massachusetts.

Starting at 10 a.m., people will be allowed to visit one of three casinos in the state and bet on sporting events, given that they are over 21.

The three eligible casinos are MGM in Springfield, Encore Boston Harbor in Everett and Plainridge Park Casino in Plainville.

For those interested in mobile betting, the option will have a delayed launch. The current estimate of when people will be able to use mobile sports betting is in March, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Massachusetts will become one of 35 US states to legalize sports betting, but is it the right move? Let us know your thoughts below on making it legal and if you plan to participate in the future.
