How Jazmine Sullivan turned her mother’s cancer pain into a goal

There is no cheerleader like mom.

Since she was a little girl, Jazmine Sullivan remembers his mother, Pam sullivan, doing all she could to make her daughter’s dreams come true.

“She sacrificed to be home with her husband, to be home with my brother because she always took me to auditions and different places,” Jazmine explained exclusively to E! New. “She always supported me and still does.”

So maybe it shouldn’t come as a surprise that when Pam was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, Jazmine quickly went into cheerleader mode to defend her mother.

“I didn’t know any other way to be because I was just repeating the love she gave me,” she explained. “I went into warrior mode, almost into mom mode. She was like, ‘You treat me like the girl!’ When it’s your mother, you don’t want to lose them. You go into a mode that you didn’t even know you had. What should I do to protect you and I will do anything and sacrifice anything? what. It got us so close to that. “
