Houston Texans Reveal Four New, Fan-Inspired Uniforms

HOUSTON – Today, the Houston Texans unveiled four new fan-inspired uniforms for the first time since the team’s inception in 2000. The four new uniforms – home, away, alternate and Color Rush – are a direct result of the responsibility of the president and CEO of the Texans, Cal McNair. to evolve without fear. Through over 10,000 surveys and 30 focus groups, uniforms are made by H-Town.

“Today, for the first time since 2000, we are very proud to unveil our new uniforms. They are even more special because they are inspired by and for our fans,” said Cal McNair, president and CEO of the Houston Texans . “Our fans asked us to be more H-Town and we delivered on their promises. They were with us every step of the way and there truly is something for everyone in all four uniforms.”

The home uniform is classic, with the updated Deep Steel Blue color that matches the original Deep Steel Blue unveiled in 2000, as well as an H-Town callout on the inner collar. The house helmet is Deep Steel Blue with blue on blue metallic flake paint. It features the traditional bull logo on the sides and the new secondary H logo on the back. The Liberty White away uniform is traditional with a modern twist, with the traditional sleeve stripe on the back and sides of the jersey transitioning into a bullhorn-inspired design on the front.

The alternate uniform is the bold Battle Red version of the away jersey. The alternate helmet is Battle Red with candy red paint flakes, a chrome metallic red facemask, a new megaphone-inspired helmet logo application, and the Texans bullhead logo on the rear. The Color Rush city-inspired uniform features H-Town Blue as the first new color introduced to the Texans brand in team history. The Texans are also the first team in NFL history to introduce a new logo on an alternate helmet and a dual logo system on all helmets.

To celebrate this special milestone in franchise history, the Texans are hosting a private release party tonight presented by Houston area Ford dealerships and have planned a number of events across the city for the enjoyment of all the fans.
