Hollywood actors and studios to restart contract negotiations

Hollywood’s actors’ union and major studios and broadcast networks announced Saturday that they are returning to the bargaining table to try to end a months-long strike that has halted television and film production.

Negotiations are set to resume Tuesday, nearly two weeks after the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, which negotiates on behalf of companies including Discovery Warner Bros., Disney And Netflix— walked away from the table due to a revised union demand to share streaming revenue.
