Hochul says she doesn’t ‘need to have numbers’ to scrap gun duties, but says she needs more data to repeal cashless bail

During Friday’s broadcast of “Eric Bolling The Balance” on Newsmax TV, New York gubernatorial candidate and Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) opposed New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s (D ) that she doesn’t “need to have numbers” to justify gun control proposals with her reluctance to repeal cashless bail due to a lack of data to justify repealing the cashless deposit.
After watching a clip of Hochul responding to a question about whether she has any data to show concealed carry permit holders are committing crimes by saying, “I don’t need to have numbers. I don’t need to – I don’t need to have a data point to point to say this is fine – all I know is that I have a responsibility to the people of this state to have sensible gun safety laws. Zeldin said, “Well, it’s NRA-endorsed Congresswoman Kathy Hochul who doesn’t need the facts to take away the rights of law-abiding New Yorkers who want to carry a gun in only to defend herself. And when asked about the need… for a repeal of cashless bail, her response was, we can’t do it, we need data. She is everywhere.
