She added: “It is time for Senate Democrats to adjust the rules to protect Americans’ right to vote.”

Clinton’s tweet may have been a subtle message to Senator Joe Manchin, DW.Va. The Moderate Democrat’s vote was essential in removing filibuster in a heavily divided Senate.

Manchin notably upset his fellow Democrats when he put the kibosh on President Biden’s Build Back Better proposal last month.
