Isn’t that a sleight of hand!
For the first time ever, the Sanderson sisters are inviting brave souls to book a stay at their “Hocus Pocus” cottage – if they dare.
“To commemorate their return in ‘Hocus Pocus 2,’ the Sanderson sisters are inviting those with a penchant for mysticism to spend a night at their spellbinding Salem cottage where guests can explore their chilling lair in celebration of All Hallows’ Eve.” an Airbnb spokesperson told the Post.
“Our host, Kathy, who plays Mary Sanderson in the beloved films, knows better than anyone how delightful a step into the world of the Sanderson sisters can be and we’ve teamed up to celebrate the sisters’ long-awaited return.”
In reality, the cottage is a recreation of the one featured in the iconic film, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy.
Located in the remote woods of Salem, Massachusetts, the trio will host their home for an exclusive stay on October 20 for up to two people, just $31 per night, to celebrate All Saints Day.
“We all know that the Sanderson Sisters story might not have ended when we crumbled to dust, nor did our shenanigans,” Najimy said. “What better way to celebrate the season than welcoming guests to the trio’s historic haunt for a night they’ll remember for years to come?”
“Hocus Pocus 2” will stream on Disney+ starting September 30. And guests who have booked a stay at the chalet will have the opportunity to see a special screening of the film.
Booking opens at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 12.
“As if untouched by time, our creaky old cottage stands among the trees, calling to visitors as if in a trance,” the listing notes. “Enter through the window or the waterwheel, but watch your step – a cobweb or two and the smoke from our cauldron awaits you inside.”
The chalet has two bedrooms and a bathroom.
“Guests should also note that because our precious cottage does not include ‘facilities’, if you will, we have added a modern outhouse just steps from the house for your convenience,” the listing adds.
Items throughout the cottage include a bubbling cauldron, your very own broomstick and, of course, the beloved Handbook of Witchcraft and Alchemy.
Airbnb is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem, in which they will make a one-time donation to the organization.
