New England is forecast for an unusually warm weekend, with temperatures expected to approach record highs for November.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures across southern New England will remain in the 60s and 70s on Friday and Saturday, each within 10 degrees of the record high.
Sunday is the best bet to break the record, with Boston expected to surpass a 2015 high of 73 degrees. However, some meteorologists think Sunday temperatures will be lower than expected.
Monday is also expected to stay in the mid-70s across the region. The weather will cool into the 50s and 60s by Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.
