Here are the Chicago nominees – NBC Chicago

Outstanding restaurateurs, culinary experts and hospitality leaders will receive global recognition for their exemplary work in the restaurant business at the James Beard Foundation’s annual awards on Monday evening.
Considered one of the nation’s most prestigious honors for culinary industry and food media performers, the awards ceremony aims to recognize outstanding talent, but also a commitment to racial equity and gender, community, sustainability and a culture where all can thrive, according to a press release.
The Restaurant and Chef Awards, which are one of many award ceremonies, include nominees from across the country, from chefs to restaurateurs to brand new restaurants. Scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Lyric Opera in Chicago, the event will be Academy Awards style and followed by a post-awards celebration.
