After the fight, Garry was asked to rate his performance by Jon Anik but instead of answering “The Future” question, he tried to get the crowd moving.

“First of all, I wanna say what’s up in Jacksonville?! Go ahead. I wanna hear you,” Garry said before he started singing “Ole, Ole, Ole.”

“It was good. He was tough, he was big, he was strong,” Garry finally replied. “I wanted to stop him and manipulate the game in my kingdom. is a good wrestler.

“I was struggling to find my rhythm but at the end of the day it’s 15 minutes in the cage. I’m not happy because I like to finish the fights, but it’s experience and as I said before. I’m not perfect but I’m getting there.

“My wife is pregnant, we are expecting the end of the year,” added Garry. “Dana, Mick, Sean, line ’em up, I’m gonna knock ’em out and by the time I’m done with this division, everybody’s gonna call me daddy.”

Cejudo took Twitter shortly after to claim that Garry stole his crown of cringe with his over-excited post-fight interview.

“That’s it everyone, Ian Garry just stole my title of King of Cringe!” #ufc273
