Hemingway: It’s important to use meaningful words, not gassy people

Mollie Hemingway: Well, again, two–twitch quarters, that’s what we got always said for decades is a recession. And so it’s important that we use words that have meaning and that we don’t try to enlighten people. But for Juan, it’s really a problem that the administration in no way conveys to people that they understand what it’s like to go to the grocery store and see that your salary goes less and less far every week. These things are very hard on the American people, and they want to feel that those responsible at least understand what is going on and when they deny reality. It is very difficult to trust that they will be able to fix the problem. It is a political problem, given what is happening in November.
