Hdfc Life is expected to grow 6% on an annual premium equivalent basis in the fourth quarter

HDFC Life, a subsidiary of Housing Development Finance Corporation, is due to report its results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2022 on Tuesday.

A CNBC-TV18 poll expects the total annualized premium equivalent (APE) – the annualized premium of the new business plus 10% of the first single premium – to rise by 6% to Rs 3,050 crore from Rs 2 881 crore seen during the same period last year.

The value of new business (VNB) is also expected to increase by 6% to Rs 823 crore on an annual basis (YoY), while the VNB margin is expected to be 26.3% from 26.9% last year.

The stock closed down 2.49% at Rs 540.25 per share ahead of the fourth quarter earnings announcements.
