Harry Styles beats Beyoncé in Grammys clash

In a disappointing but unsurprising feat, Harry Styles’ “Harry’s House” won the Grammy for Album of the Year over Beyoncé’s “Renaissance.”
This year, the former One Direction member earned six Grammy nominations: Record of The Year, Song of The Year, Best Music Video, and Best Pop Solo Performance for his hit “As It Was,” as well as Best Pop Vocal. Album and Album. of the year for “Harry’s House”.
Besides Styles and Beyoncé, Bad Bunny, Adele, Lizzo, ABBA, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile and Coldplay were also up for album of the year.

Stating that he is inspired by many artists in the category, he said, “There is no better in music…It doesn’t happen very often to people like me.”
Styles is a nine-time Grammy nominee. Ahead of Sunday’s awards show, the singer had one win under his belt: Best Pop Solo Performance for his 2021 single “Watermelon Sugar.” “Harry’s House” is Styles’ third studio album.
Many fans saw Styles’ victory as another example of the Recording Academy unduly praising a white artist who maintained the status quo, citing Adele’s “25” victory over Beyoncé’s “Formation” in 2017. “Harries” was elated online, many saw it as a slap in the face at Beyoncé and black artists.
