It’s a “parody” that Harry Kane and Heung-min Son are still Tottenham, says talkSPORT host Jason Cundy, who admits he “feels sorry” for the pair.
Kane and Son have bonded in north London since 2015, when the latter joined German side Bayer Leverkusen.
The striker duo’s superb relationship and goalscoring prowess has seen them assist each other to 36 Premier League goals, equaling Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba’s record in the league.
Kane and Son last scored when the Korea international assisted the England captain for his first of two goals in a thrilling 3-2 win over Manchester City.
Son signed a new four-year contract with Spurs last summer, while at the same time his striker partner Kane attempted to force a £100m move to Man City.
Former Tottenham defender Cundy can’t believe his former side managed to retain the pair, who are yet to win a trophy with the London club.
“[They have] nothing to show for it,” he said.

“Kane again, the conversation will inevitably come back to the fact that Kane is one of the best strikers in the world.
“I think he’s the best, he’s an absolute pleasure to watch, even as a Chelsea fan I have to say he’s a brilliant, brilliant footballer.
“How is he still at Spurs? It’s a travesty, him and son, I’m sorry for both of them
“Son, I don’t think he’s quite world class, he can put on a world class performance but he’s not in the same bracket, Kane is, Kane is right up there.”
