A year after their break with the British royal family, the confessions of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on American television, this Sunday evening, promise to be uncompromising and potentially explosive for the monarchy. Under very high protection for the last day of his historic trip to Iraq, Pope Francis went this Sunday to meet the Christian community in the country. Nine first cases of covid-19 outside the fortnight were detected this Sunday in New Caledonia where strict confinement of two weeks, including all schools closed, was announced. Until now, New Caledonia has been one of the few “covid-free” territories on the planet, thanks in particular to compulsory fortnights in hotels requisitioned for anyone arriving. Only imported cases of the disease had been counted.

A first case outside the fortnight of covid-19 has been detected in the small archipelago of Wallis and Futuna, in the South Pacific, where measures to protect the population, with high rates of obesity and diabetes, have been taken.


Vaccines: caregivers and their “ethical duty”

The seven orders of the health professions “call with a single voice on all caregivers to be vaccinated” against covid-19, stressing that it is an “ethical duty” to “curb the spread of the epidemic, ”in a statement made public this Sunday.
