Hafthor Bjornsson has admitted he would love to be part of Tyson Fury’s training camp for his title fight with Dillian Whyte after meeting the WBC heavyweight champion earlier this year.
Thor is preparing to finally settle his rivalry with fellow former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall in Dubai on Saturday.
The duo’s boxing match has been delayed for months following Hall’s injury, but the showdown is definitely on.
Thor, who also played The Mountain in Game of Thrones and is a Reign Total Body Fuel Athleteimmersed himself in the world of boxing and recently met the Gypsy King.
The Icelandic superstar revealed to talkSPORT.com what they were talking about and how he hopes to train with him in the future.
“We talked about training, what’s going on, plans for his future, plans for my future, what’s next for him and what’s next for me,” Thor told talkSPORT.com.
“Just bits of everything. He’s a really nice guy and I have huge respect for Tyson Fury as a boxer and a person. He seems like a really good guy.
“We had some great talks and even talked about training together one day.

“I know he’s starting his camp and I would love to go there and be part of it if it’s on the table and an offer.”
Thor also thinks there is no doubt who will win this fight between Fury and Whyte, which will be live and exclusive on talkSPORT on April 23.
He said: “Tyson Fury is undefeated, the best heavyweight boxer in the world right now. One hundred percent Tyson Fury wins by knockout.
Thor was also inspired by some of the greatest boxers of all time and would sit and watch YouTube videos of them to learn as much as he could about boxing.
“I watched a lot of different boxers,” added Thor. “Those who are active right now, former boxers like Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, [Evander] Holyfield.
“Now people like Canelo, Tyson Fury, Teofimo Lopez, I kinda know him and he’s a great fighter, GGG (Golovkin).
“I love watching these guys who are great at their game and I try to watch them as much and learn from them.
“I watch a lot of boxers, but these are the main names I like to look up when I’m on YouTube.”
