Gregory Industries to build manufacturing campus and create 100 jobs in Athens

ATHENS, Alabama – Gregory Industries is adding 100 jobs with a new manufacturing facility in Athens.

The Ohio-based company, which manufactures road safety products, structural steel canals, tubing and other rolled steel products, will build the 325,000-square-foot facility for $ 30 million over more than 80 acres in Elm Industrial Park.

The new development will create 100 manufacturing, maintenance and supervision jobs in the region.

“We are very excited to create more jobs and more businesses in Northern Alabama,” said Matt Gregory, CEO of Gregory Industries. “We are grateful to the City of Athens and the County of Limestone for hosting us and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership. “

The company says that when the new campus goes live, it will expand regional manufacturing capacity and allow faster service for customers in the Southeast.

Gregory Industries says construction is scheduled to begin in March 2022 and begin operations in the fall.
