The first look at Google Pixel Fold has been leaked. Google’s foldable is rumored to be codenamed “Project Passport” and could arrive in May 2023. The purported Pixel Fold renders feature the device with a metal and glass body. Most notably, its massive interior display appears to sport bezels, instead of a punch-hole or under-display camera. However, the cover screen is pictured with a punch-hole selfie camera. Users are said to expect “Pixel-esque performance” from this Google smartphone.
The alleged Pixel Fold renders were leaked by Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech. This foldable phone from Google is codenamed “Project Passport” and the Pixel Fold moniker is most likely set in stone. The handset is said to have a metal and glass body, which is said to be “very heavy”.
Its specifications are still unknown, however, it is said to offer “Pixel-esque performance”. The Pixel Fold could be available in Chalk (white) and Obsidian (black) colors. Google reportedly priced this foldable smartphone at $1,799 (around Rs 1,50,000). The Pixel Fold is rumored to launch in May 2023 alongside the Pixel tablet.
The Pixel Fold is said to have a massive interior display with bezels and no punch-hole slot or under-display camera. It apparently sports a selfie camera in the upper right corner of the interior screen. However, the cover screen is supposed to have a center-aligned punch-hole slot. Both front-facing shooters are said to have 9.5-megapixel sensors.
This Google smartphone appears to sport a triple rear camera setup on the back housed in a protruding camera strip. The Pixel Fold is pictured with top and bottom speakers. It is said to have a USB Type-C port and its power button can also act as a fingerprint sensor.
