Global Citizen Festival 2023: how to watch, artists, time, more

The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Anitta and Jung Kook of BTS are scheduled to perform at the Global Citizen Festival 2023, and the entire event will be broadcast around the world.
The benefit concert, which will take place in New York’s Central Park, will be broadcast live herefrom 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 23. Highlights will also be broadcast on ABC.
The Global Citizen Festival is offering free tickets to the event in exchange for fans taking action for social change on the group’s app and website. Global Citizen supporters urge governments to take action to combat extreme poverty and the systemic problems that prevent millions of people from escaping it.
The festival marks the first time record-setting K-Pop singer Kook will perform live without BTS. His debut solo single “Seven” reached number one in the United States and internationally this summer.
Other artists include Conan Gray, D-Nice, Sofia Carson and Stray Kids.
Speakers ranging from Bill Nye, the scientist to rapper Common, TV host Padma Lakshmi, basketball star Carmelo Anthony and many advocates from around the world will also be on hand to encourage viewers to take action additional.
