Ginni Thomas “The handprints are in this conspiracy” of seditious conduct

CNN contributor Carl Bernstein said on CNN’s “The Lead” on Friday that Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, was involved in a conspiracy with former President Donald Trump and his lawyer John Eastman to attempt a coup.

Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Let’s just focus on the Ginni Thomas part of this. What do you think is going on there?

Bernstein said: ‘I think you have the very delicate situation where the wife of a Supreme Court justice is very obviously involved in some way or another in a conspiracy in which there really is a conspiracy. to overthrow, try to attempt a coup to overturn the election results. I think the committee feels it has to be very careful when the wife of a Supreme Court justice may be involved. I mean, let’s look at what happened at Watergate where you have a unanimous Supreme Court decision to compel Richard Nixon to turn over his tapes.

He continued: ‘Now you have this whole matter of Donald Trump trying to overturn the Constitution, to prevent the legal transition of power to his successor, and now you have a correspondence file in which Clarence Thomas, a justice of the Supreme Court, his wife is obviously implicated by documentary evidence that we already know Bob Woodward wrote about, somehow his handprints are in this conspiracy, benign or not. We are therefore entering an area where we have never been before in the history of the United States which may involve conversations between Judge Clarence Thomas and his wife involving a conspiracy to defraud the government and possibly seditious conduct , as the Proud Boys have been accused with.”
