Ahead of its March 25 release, Ghostwire: Tokyo gets a free visual novel, available now on PlayStation. Ghostwire: Tokyo – Preludewill introduce KK players, the deuteragonist of ghost thread, and his team of spiritual detectives as they investigate paranormal disturbances across Tokyo. Players will be able to make different choices throughout the visual novel to unravel the story of ghost yarnand the spirits that haunt him.
Ghostwire: Tokyo is the last game of The Evil Within Tango Gameworks developer. Its slick and extremely disturbing gameplay trailer showcases a world overrun with apparitions that KK must banish with the help of Akito, the human that KK possesses and imbues with supernatural ghost-destroying power.
Ghostwire: Tokyo caused a stir when announced at E3 2019 due to the bubbly personality of the game’s creative director, Ikumi Nakamura – an industry veteran who has worked on games like Okami, Bayonetand The Evil Within series. Shortly after his adorable-as-hell presentation, Nakamura left Tango Gameworks to start his own independent game studio. Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude is available now for PlayStation users and will be available on the Epic Games store on March 8.
