Ghosts’ Brandon Scott Jones Finally Talks About Isaac’s Exit

After centuries — and an entire season of television — of silence, Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones) finally shared her truth about Ghosts.

During the April 21 finale, Isaac, the ghost of an American Revolutionary War captain, thought his longtime crush (and former war rival) Nigel (John Hartman) had been “sucked in”. For the record, this is what ghosts call ascension.

But, at the end of the episode, it was revealed that Nigel hadn’t moved, prompting Isaac to share his true feelings for the British Specter.

“Nigel, wait,” Isaac said to his fellow ghosts. “I like you.”

A happy but surprised Nigel replied, “Do you love me?”

“Yeah, please don’t make me say it again,” Isaac replied.

After Nigel confirmed that he also loved Isaac, the other ghosts celebrated that the two spirits had finally opened up to each other. And, if you’re anything like us, you certainly fought back a few tears during that time.

We are not the only ones moved by this final. On the red carpet for Ghosts‘ at PaleyFest LA on April 6, Brandon told E! News that this “scene meant a lot to me.”
