Gaten Matarazzo hints at what to expect from ‘Stranger Things’ season four

“Stranger Things” is about to get even more annoying, actor Gaten Matarazzo revealed on Tuesday’s episode of “The Tonight Show.”

Host Jimmy Fallon recalled how Matarazzo, who plays Dustin on Netflix’s hit sci-fi series, told him the upcoming fourth season could be “the scariest.”

“Ooh, yeah. It’s the only thing I noticed, ”replied Matarazzo. “I was reading it and (thought) they’re going there this year, that’s pretty cool.”

Matarazzo explained last week how the new season, whose filming has been delayed by the coronavirus pandemic and is now happening in “small increments here and there”, had a more mature tone.

“As far as the tone of the season goes, it’s definitely, I think the tone is definitely matured, and I think they’re doing it on purpose because I think they want their show to mature with their kids.” , the actor explained to Entertainment tonight.

“As we get older as people, we have to get older as characters. They face this problem, but they accept it and they use it to their advantage, ”continued Matarazzo. “And they don’t panic when we get older or when our voices drop or anything like that. They use it and use it as ammunition for their writing. It’s amazing what they can do. Working with them is simply exceptional. It always has been.
