FTR and Aussie Open will face off at WrestleDream for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
In a few weeks, specifically on October 1st, All Elite Wrestling will pay tribute to Antonio Inoki for the first anniversary of his death with a PPV called WrestleDream. So far, several interesting fights have been confirmed and this Saturday, a fight that will face two of the biggest teams in the wrestling industry has been added to the billboard.
On the latest episode of AEW Collision, the Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) easily defeated their opponents. After the match, Fletcher challenged FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) to a match at WrestleDream for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. A few minutes later, the fight became official when FTR accepted the challenge.
FTR will have to put their belt on the line next week at AEW Collision against The Workhorsemen. Win or lose, the Aussie Open fight in AEW WrestleDream will happen. Considering the level of Harwood and Wheeler, it is very likely that they will beat their rivals and the dream fight against Fletcher and Davis will be a start.
