Freezing rain could hit parts of Michigan for Tuesday travel
Road conditions in parts of the Lower Peninsula could become a little dicey Tuesday morning if freezing rain develops overnight.
The National Weather Service issued an overnight forecast that said it is possible for freezing rain to mix in with the rain expected overnight. If this happens, the most likely time for these slippery spots is between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. Tuesday.
An area from northern Kent County to Big Rapids and north to Cadillac could be affected by these conditions. The forecast area is primarily north of I-96 and east of US 131.
