Fox News host Bill Hemmer said on Monday he walked out of a restaurant in New York City after employees demanded to see photo ID with his COVID-19 vaccination card.

“I walked into a restaurant three weeks ago,” he said. during a city segment requiring proof of vaccination for many indoor activities, including meals. “I said, ‘I don’t have my immunization card, but I have an app,’ so I downloaded it and showed it to them. And they said, “Sir, can we see something with your name on it?” “

Hemmer said he took out a few credit cards but was asked for something with his picture on it.

Co-host Dana Perino asked Hemmer if he was showing off his Fox News badge. He didn’t say why he hadn’t shown this or a driver’s license.
