Fortnite can be an absolute pleasure to play with your friends, but being matched with random players is more risky. In some of the random groups I’ve been in, coordinating any kind of effective strategy can be a tough undertaking, especially if some team members want to rush into battle while others prefer to play slow. To help you find better teammates, Fortnite Developer Epic Games is testing new social tags for profiles that let you indicate how you like to play and can be used to connect you with other like-minded gamers.
According to a blog post, the tags will include things like your preferred game modes and whether or not you want to use a mic. If you’ve added at least one social tag, you’ll be able to send and receive party invites from people with matching tags who are in your server’s region using a new “Find a Party” section in the menu of the lateral bar. You can turn “Looking For Party” on or off, so if you don’t want to receive invites from other players based on your tags, just turn it off.
Here is a preview of the new #Fortnite The Social Tags feature is rolling out to select players and will be available to everyone soon after!

However, you may not have Social Tags or Looking For Party features yet, as they are currently being tested. “These features will be rolling out to all players gradually at a pace dependent on testing,” Epic said. And you’ll want to make sure you have the latest game update, which was released on Tuesday.
The epic has begun from Fortnite last season earlier in June, and it’s all about the atmosphere. Darth Vader is an unlockable skin for this season’s battle pass, and as part of the latest update, you can battle him on the Fortnite island to get a disposable lightsaber.
