Former Ocean City High Star launches a well into the Angel System

Former Ocean City High School pitching star Danny Nunan is starting to find his groove.

The 22-year-old former Red Raider is enjoying his best run as a professional since being drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in 2018.

Nunan was a 12th round pick and has pitched in 36 minor league games, but in his last eight games he has truly excelled.

According to Jared Tims, who tracks the Angels minor leaguers, Nunan has a 1.93 ERA over his last 14 innings pitched with 12 strikeouts.

For the season, Nunan pitches for the Inland Empire 66ers, a Single-A affiliate of the Angels. He has currently pitched 20 games with an ERA of 3.51 and an outstanding WHIP of 1.05. He also struck out 29 batters in 33.1 innings pitched this year.
