Figliuzzi, during an appearance on Really American PAC’s “Talking Heads,” said Carlson’s on-air parrot about Kremlin propaganda before and during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was “went far beyond freedom of expression”.
“I took an oath when I became an FBI agent to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution,” Figliuzzi said. “It means I was willing to risk my life for someone like Tucker Carlson’s right to free speech.”
But Putin is committing war crimes and terrorism in Ukraine and “those who aid and abet him aid and abet terrorism”, he continued.
And with excerpts from Carlson’s comments used by Russian state media, Figliuzzi said: “You have to stop and say, wait a minute, this is no longer free speech. It is now that our own people are being deliberately used by an enemy against us.
