Forbes has revealed its list of the richest in the world – and it’s the biggest 35-year-old group on the annual list. In a pandemic year that has seen “rapid public offerings, a surge in cryptocurrencies and a surge in stock prices,” 86% of the world’s richest people are richer than they were a year ago, according to Forbes.
The list includes 2,755 billionaires – 660 more than last year, including 493 newcomers to the list. The top spot went to Jeff Bezos, who according to Forbes has a net worth of $ 177 billion, making him the richest in the world for the fourth year in a row.
