Hugh Laurie has long been a fan of the works of Agatha Christie and was delighted to adapt her ‘Why Didn’t They Ask Evans’ mystery into a limited series for BBC BritBox. His version has the central couple – played by Lucy Boynton and Will Poulter – engaging in smart, quick-witted banter throughout the story as they try to work out how a man fell off a cliff in Wales .
