Kell Brook and Conor Benn nearly came to blows at ringside for the Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron fight.

Both men were present at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, and only security prevented them from fighting on the spot.

Brook was doing an interview with match boxing when Benn walked past and appeared to nudge him in the back.

“Oi,” Brook yelled at Benn, before “The Destroyer” turned around and the pair squared off.

“Special K” then gave Benn a huge push and security had to step in to keep the men out as they tried to fight at ringside.

Brook is currently retired from boxing, having hung up his gloves after beating longtime rival Amir Khan.

That being said, he has already teased a comeback, specifically naming Benn as someone he would want to fight, telling talkSPORT: “I’d like to show this young Benn what time it is.”

Meanwhile, Benn hasn’t fought since April of last year when he knocked out Chris Van Heerden.

He was supposed to face Chris Eubank Jr in October last year, but he failed two drug tests in the build-up and has faced controversy and has been trying to clear himself ever since.

But, Benn and his promoter Eddie Hearn want to see him back in the ring soon, and now after his fight with Brook, this could be the next obvious matchup for the two men.

Sports
