After the traditional military parade, President Emmanuel Macron lends himself to the July 14 interview on Thursday, a first since 2020 and since his re-election in April. The Head of State, who will endeavor to draw up prospects for his second and final term, will be questioned by Caroline Roux and Anne-Claire Coudray from 1.10 p.m. Follow the event live.
Emmanuel Macron will try Thursday, during his July 14 interview, to regain control after a difficult start to his five-year term, but also to outline prospects for his second and final term.
From the end of the military parade and for about thirty minutes, starting at 1:10 p.m., the president will “set the course, the main lines of the policies that must be conducted” by answering questions from Caroline Roux and Anne-Claire Coudray on TF1 and France 2.
It is only the second time, after 2020, that the Head of State is reviving this tradition formed by his predecessors.
It is also and above all his first television interview since his re-election in April and the legislative elections, which saw him lose his absolute majority in the National Assembly in June.
