Red Bull have been successful in the last five rounds. But, Max Verstappen failed in the British GP as his RB18 floor pan was damaged and therefore got less downforce as he finished seventh overall. Meanwhile, Verstappen leads the drivers’ standings with 181 points to his name.

He is followed by Sergio Perez in second place with 147 points as he displayed a scintillating drive in the British GP to finish second after falling to last place. On top of that, Red Bull still leads the constructors’ championship with 63 points going into round ten.
Ferrari had a promising end last time out at Silverstone as both of its drivers finished in the top five. First, Carlos Sainz won his first F1 race on his 150th start and unfortunately Charles Leclerc had to settle for fourth place.

Meanwhile, things were looking pretty good for the British GP’s Silver Arrows as Lewis Hamilton claimed his third podium of the season and back-to-back podiums as he claimed third place in his home race.
Additionally, George Russell had to retire from the race on the opening lap as he was involved in an accident involving multiple cars on the opening lap of the race. With that, his streak of top-five finishes so far came to an end.
First of all, the most important thing is that Zhou is fine. It was a scary incident and all credit goes to the marshals and medical team for their quick response.
Obviously gutted to end the race this way and I feel sorry for the team and the fans. LH cheers from the garage. π

Porpoising, which has been a nightmare for Mercedes, is something they have dealt with very well in the last two races. Finally, George Russell fell one place to fifth in the drivers’ standings with 111 points and Lewis Hamilton is sixth overall with 93 points. Meanwhile, Mercedes are third overall in the constructors’ championship with 204 points, 61 behind Ferrari.
