Red Bull have sort of ironed out their reliability issues and they seem to be the main contenders for victory at the Monaco GP. Max Verstappen won the last time F1 visited Monte Carlo and will be aiming for his fifth race win of the season.

On the other hand, Sergio Perez will be looking to put on a solid performance again after a disappointment in Barcelona as he eyed his first win of the 2022 season. Perez has been told by the Red Bull team that he will reclaim his P1 spot from Verstappen, but then things changed and the Mexican wasn’t happy with the decision.

Mercedes have really tipped the momentum in their favor after improving their W13 challenger in Spain. Additionally, they resolved their porpoising issues and seemed to be closing in on Ferrari and Red Bull in terms of race pace.

George Russell has been a shining light for the Silver Arrows this year. He has finished in the top five of six races so far. Lewis Hamilton also looked to be approaching his best at Barcelona after an inspirational drive from P19 to clinch P5 and saw himself among the points.
