Carlos Sainz, the other Ferrari driver, will start the race in third position. He will be looking to turn things around as this is his home race. He suffered two consecutive DNFs, but he will be eager to leave today.
Meanwhile, Max Verstappen came very close to taking pole position yesterday, but reliability issues with RB18 left him wandering. On his last flying lap in qualifying, he lost power and had to stop the lap. He will start the race in second position.
