Florida restaurant fires all of its employees over theft charges

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The Keg and Flight Wine Tasting Room in Pensacola announced on Facebook that it had indeed laid off all of its employees.

The restaurant claimed the staff were fired on suspicion of theft in the business for some time after certain POS/operating anomalies were discovered.

On Saturday, March 5, all employee door keys and store cards were collected, and at the time, the manager and staff were released for the cause.

Since the Facebook posting on March 7, the restaurant has taken legal action and authorities are now involved in a criminal investigation.

The restaurant reopened on Tuesday March 8 with a brand new team.
