Floods in Libya: entire families swept away, more than 5,300 dead

The death toll has surpassed 5,300, authorities said, after a Mediterranean storm triggered terrible flooding in Libya on Sunday. Two dams collapsed in the town of Derna, where waves reached more than 6 meters, sweeping away families and blocks of houses.
